I think the problem might be that there are not enough highlights to make the picture jump out.. like.. the eyelashes dont have enough details or maybe a lack of depth.
Its very beautiful!!! dont get me wrong - but only if you really are concerned about the "something missing" maybe you could apply a bit more black to emphasize the shape of the eyes and shadows? Thats just me...
Eitherway, this is going to my favorites because of those beautiful lips and that nice profile. ^_^
I still think its an excellent job.
